I thought I read elsewhere that the YDC would only consider promotion of Kaio with a second consecutive yusho due to his history of inconsistent performances following a yusho. Perhaps what I read was only speculation, though. Is it certain that he'll be promoted if he gets 13 wins?

I would think the second allowed loss would be on the last day to Asashoryu.
